Saturday August 6th we will have a youth yard sale indoors by the amphitheatre. We are now accepting donations. Please put donations in the church trailer. We will also be glad to pick them up if we need to.

Are you familiar with the phrases “yes and no mam or sir, or excuse me? Do you snap rudly at your parents when they ask you simple questions? What about speaking out loud when someone else is speaking and rudely interupting them? This week’s discussion revolves around good and bad manners and why they are important. It amazes me today to see people becoming more illmannered and less respectful than ever before. The Bible teaches us proper ways of communication, respect, and gratitude; all of which we need to learn and put into practice no matter how old or young we are. Manners should be taught in the school and the home, and if they are not practiced then what good do they become? How are your manners?
