Bro. Brian Prochaska will share God’s Word this week with a message called “Life Is Temporary”.  Sometimes we really don’t realize that this life is a short life compared to our eternal home, and what time we spend here is very important.  It is also important as to what we spend our time with.  Please pray for Brian as prepares the message for us Wednesday. 
 
YarD SalE ReSultS!
 Thank you church family for donating your items to our Youth Yard Sale.  With your help we were able to raise $950 to help our teenagers and sponsors go to SOAR this summer.  This put us one step closer, but we still have a way to go.

Erin Carter will be our guest speaker.  Erin has been a member of First Baptist Church for many years and is a former member of Main Event.  She is currently working with the Tupelo Police Department.  Please be in prayer for her as she shares her testimony and God’s Word with us this week.
 
Youth Yard Sale
We still need your donations for our Youth Yard Sale.  If you have anything to donate, please bring to the church and put them in the church trailer located in the lower parking garage.
Our yard sale is scheduled for this Saturday, March 27th.   
 
PRAISE BAND
Praise band will meet at 5:45 this week.  We will begin at 6:45 with music.  Please be on time and ready to worship.

Grant Jenkins will be our guest speaker this Wednesday night.  Bro. Grant has prepared a message entitled “Are You In Or Out” and I look forward to hearing what Bro. Grant has in store for us.  Please be in prayer for him as he prepares to bring us God’s word. 

Spring Break Softball Game
Next Wednesday night we meet at the park for our annual Spring Break Softball Game.  I encourage each and everyone to bring your game to the park and enjoy a wonderful night of fellowship and “friendly competition”.  Please bring your own bat and glove. 
 
Main Event Goes Green
With warmer weather on the horizon, we are preparing our “Going Green” campaign where we are looking to help clean up our community.  We also have 2 recycle barrels outside the amphitheatre to collect aluminum cans in.  Main Event wants to make a difference around our community and our church.

Did you know that laughter can make us live longer, lose weight, and help us live a less stressful life?  So why isn’t laughing part of our daily routines?  In Proverbs 17:22 the Bible tells us that a “merry heart does good like a medicine”.  If this is the case, laughter should become something we strive to do each day.  Laughter is a gift from God and we should make the most of it.  A happy Christian can do better work than an unhappy one.  So with all the positive benefits of laughter, I encourage you to become a ‘LOL” person and share with others the joy you have for Christ. 
 
Youth BBQ Luncheon
We thank you and appreciate all of your support this past Sunday!  We raised over $1300 for our summer trip to SOAR.
