Church Camps Update
June has been a busy month for many of our youth. The Galileans left on the 5th for some special activities then onto National Galilean Camp that began on the 7th, retuning on the 10th. Our GMA girls left on the 13th with the Bethel GMA’s making a stop in Vicksburg for special activities then onto National GMA Camp. Both of these were held at Daniel Springs Baptist Camp in Gary, TX. Everyone had a great time and look forward to next year. Then on the 20th we went to Tishomingo State Park with 16 youth and 2 Adult sponsors for the Harmony Association Baptist Camp. There were four young ladies who accepted Jesus as savior at Harmony Camp and we pray for God to place people around them to encourage them as they begin a new life in Christ. June has been a busy but productive month for our youth as we have watched them all grow more in the Lord. We have started making plans for next year and we still have one camp left for our Galilean’s which will take place in Ponca, AR from July 29th-31st.

Are your children, grands in Galileans or G.M.A.’s? Are they going to be in Awana this fall? Do you have them in 10:00 Sunday School? Do you know how important this is?
We do need your help with many unreturned items. If you have checked out books, CD’s, DVD and other videos in the past, please make sure these are brought back after a couple of weeks for other members to also enjoy. The library has many checked out and unreturned items that have been gone for months or even years from our library. Our goal is to keep resources available for all church members. As more and more Christian movies are been made, the library has received several new DVD’s for our church. Please make sure you return these quickly, as they are very popular and several members are waiting to see the movies.
We want to encourage you to use any and all resources made available to you through the church library. Also, we are always accepting donated books, videos, and audios.
Recently Donated: The entire Bible audio CD set. This set comes with the complete Bible made ready to listen to on any CD player. Hearing the Bible has never been more easy.

Have You Contacted a Shut-In?
Every member should be about contacting the sick, nursing home residents, and hospitalized. Are you being compassionate as Jesus taught?
Children’s Church – Urgent need! We are in urgent need of more workers for children’s church. This is a wonderful ministry for our kids but we need to give our workers more time in adult services. We would like to have enough workers so you only have to serve 1 every 3 months. Please consider helping in this area; otherwise we will have to make changes to our children’s church program. It is a great ministry with a lot of material available to help, so please consider helping out.
