We will not meet this Wednesday for Main Event.  We will be decorating for VBS instead.  If you are interested in helping, please be there at 7:00 Wednesday night to lend a hand.  Your help is appreciated.
 

Please begin praying for VBS 2008 for souls to be saved, lives to be touched, and God’s presence to be felt.  Also pray for Bro. Brian Prochaska as he directs his 2nd VBS.

SOAR ANNOUNCEMENTS
With your help and support, we were able to raise over $1200 at our Bar-B-Q Luncheon this past Wednesday.  Thanks to all of you who helped out and those who give to our Youth to make it possible for us to go to SOAR.  We thank you for your prayers and support.

SOAR is less than a week away and the excitement is beginning to grow!  The focus of the conference this year is “worship”.  Please be praying for our students, sponsors, the speakers and worship leaders.  Our prayer is for God to touch the lives of our students in a MAJOR life changing way and that they will come back on fire for God!

SOAR ANNOUNCEMENTS
We will have our luncheon fundraiser this Sunday, June 22, after the morning worship service.  Menu will include:  Bar-B-Q by Jim, slaw, baked beans, chips, dessert, and tea.

This Sunday will also be our SOAR required parent/student meeting at 4:00pm in the amphitheatre.  Please have your parents bring your insurance information with them to this meeting.  After the meeting we will have a Notary Public on hand for all forms signed by your parents.  Please do not be late!!!!!  If there are any questions concerning the trip, this is the time for you and parents to ask them.

**Please be praying for our students and sponsors as we make our final preparations for San Antonio.  Also pray for the speakers as they prepare to share God’s word.  We are praying God will make a difference in someone’s life during this time.

Thanks to all who went last Wednesday to “Movie Night” in Tupelo.  We had 35 to go and enjoy The Chronicles of Narnia 2.  I believe everyone enjoyed the show and it was well worth the trip.  I give it 2 thumbs up!!!!
 
This week we will meet back in the amphitheatre for our regular scheduled service, so be there, be alert, bring your Bible and your singing voice, and be ready to tune in to God.

Fundraiser UPDATE:
June 14th-Youth are setting up at FRED’s to sell Bar-B-Q tickets to the public.  9am-3pm
In order to get an accurate count, we ask church members not to buy a ticket.

June 22nd- Bar-B-Q Luncheon (Bar-B-Q by Jim’s) - plates $7.00 each.

Our last SOAR fundraiser if June 22nd following the morning service.  We will have a luncheon catered with Bar-B-Que by Jim's.  Plates will be $7.00 each.  We are selling tickets to the public if you know someone who wishes to attend.  Church members will not need to purchase an advanced ticket.

With SOAR only a month away, I ask for you all to begin praying for the students, speakers, and worship leaders.  We want to see souls saved and lives changed.
