The term ‘weapons of mass destruction’ came about years ago when heavy bombs were developed to destroy thousands and millions of lives all at once. However, weapons of this sort were used long before bombs and machines were ever invented.  Back in old Bible studies there lived a man named Samson, who was so big and strong through God, he was a weapon of mass destruction.  We are going to look at an interesting story about Samson and his great strength this week and truly get an understanding of “Weapon of Mass Destruction”.

I can’t believe the fall semester is halfway over!   We have been off to a great start this semester and we want to make a strong push toward the end of the year.  I want to personally challenge all of our students to maintain their faithfulness to church and youth group.  My prayer is for us to continue to grow in God and to lift Him high in all we do.

Chris Tomlin Christmas Tour
Chris Tomlin is coming to Tupelo’s BancorpSouth Center on Friday Dec. 17th, with special guests Louie Giglio and Christy Nockles.  Tickets are $22 each and you can sign up in the Amphitheatre if you are interested in going. With so many denominations for Christians to choose from these days, the word “Religion” gets lost in translation.  A true Christian needs to determine what their faith is and what they actually believe in.  When it comes to Heaven and Hell, there is only One who can truly get us into Heaven and keep us out of Hell…..Jesus Christ!  Religion shouldn’t be what we can touch or see; instead it should be the faith we have in Jesus Christ. So is it Religion we trust?  No, it’s In God We Trust.

Movie Night Is Scheduled!!!!
