We are told in Romans 3:23 that all of us are sinners and have sinned in our lives.  While this is very true, we still try and live our own secret lives pretending that sin doesn’t exist.  In fact we get so wrapped up in our sin life that it becomes a part of us and we become unaware we are even doing anything wrong.  But God knows better; He knows the truth behind all of our secret lives and takes in to account each and every sin that we commit.  So what are your sins?  What are the secrets that you try and keep from God and become a habit to your life?  What are the things that consume you and stand in the way of your Father in Heaven?  I know this will sound familiar, but “sin is not to be taken lightly”.  Our sins need to be dealt with and not stored away in our hearts and minds as we just try and forget about them.  They should be confessed to our Lord and Savior for Him to wash them away forever.  When was the last time you confessed your sins to God?   When was the last time you poured out your heart to Him and asked for forgiveness for your wrong doings?  The time is now and there is no place better than the where you are at this moment to do just that.  Rid your life today of the deep sin you have within you and let God set you free.

Here it is coming up on another presidential election and American voters will put to the test which candidate is best suitable for the job of becoming our next U.S. President.  Now I know that politics and students go together like a hot coal in the Alaskan snow which would last about as long as a teenagers attention span when talking about this.  Let’s face it, most teenagers don’t show a lot of interest when it comes to politics.  What if you went to the ballot box, looked at your ballot ready to cast your vote, and you saw the name Jesus Christ listed on there.  I know what you’re thinking….is He a Democrat or Republican right? Well that’s not the point!  The point is would you vote for Jesus?  You know His values and you know how He has morals, but in today’s world I’m not sure there are enough Christian people that would get Him elected as our President.  I believe that the values of this country have gone down so much that Jesus Christ Himself would have a difficult time being voted in as our President. This is sad when you truly look at the world we live in and the direction we are going.  What has happened to the Godly principles this country was truly founded on?
