Let’s be honest, have you ever made a mistake and don’t think it can be fixed?  Maybe you’ve made too many mistakes and don’t feel like dealing with the faults of your past.  I’m sure we’ve all been there and it is easy to focus on what has happened and not look forward to what can happen.  When we make mistakes it is important to be able to look past them, ask for forgiveness, not dwell on it, and move on.  As we discussed God’s Love last week, we will look at His forgiving powers this week and can all realize how much He truly loves us.

Youth BBQ Luncheon - Sunday February 28th
This Sunday we will have our Youth Bar-B-Q Luncheon following the Sunday morning service.  All proceeds will be going toward our summer trip to SOAR in Dallas, TX.  Plates will be $7 each and children under 7 plates are $4.

When we think of all the things that are meant to go together in this world, some things just really standout such as:  Peanut Butter and Jelly, Cake and Ice Cream, Chips and Dip, and even Black and White….you get the picture.  This week we are going to use this as an example of how much God loves us and how we can’t have a healthy Christian relationship with Him unless we love Him in return.  Remember John 3:16? Since we know how much He loves us, it’s time to take into account of how much we should love Him back and how we show it.  There are many ways to show our love and appreciation to God and this week we will look at several of those like tithing, service, and obedience.

 

Valentine’s Banquet
