As Jesus taught His Disciples what it meant to follow Him in Luke 14, we get the sense by reading these Scriptures the kind of sacrifice needed to be a disciple. The cost to live for Jesus requires the giving of ourselves to His will and His way completely. When Jesus shared this parable, He made it known in order to truly follow Him; we must put Jesus first above all things. This requires total faith in the Savior and a total commitment to keep Him first above all else. This is the way Jesus meant for us to keep our flavor or salt as we share His love with the world.
Youth BBQ Luncheon
Thank you so much church family for your support this past Sunday as we raised just over $1000 for our upcoming Mission Trip. Everyone seemed to come out and really help out our youth and we want to say thank you from all of us. Your help is really appreciated.

We now have Belk tickets for sale for $5.00 each. These tickets are good for a one day only sale at Belk Department store in the Barnes Crossing mall on the morning of May 3rd.
