The S.T.A.N.D.

This week concludes our 3 part series entitled “The STAND”.  Over the past 2 weeks I hope our students have learned what is required of them to take a stand for God with their lives.  Our first 3 messages were Strategy, Transform, and Attitude.  This Wednesday we will end this series with Not Ashamed and Determined.  Taking a stand for God in our lives not only requires the right mindset and a major change in how we behave but it also requires the ability to put it into action when the time is right.  In other words, “no holding back”.  We have an obligation to defend the God who created us and we need to be not ashamed to do so when the time comes.  Also there needs to be much determination inside us that once we make the changes in our lives to follow and stand for God, we need to be determined to not fall back but to always go forward in all we do. 

Main Event Shirts on Sale Now
We are preparing a “Main Event” shirt order for the next few weeks if anyone is interested in buying a “Main Event” t-shirt, long-sleeve shirt, sweatshirt, or hoodie.  We have posted all the information in the amphitheater on the “COMING ATTRACTIONS” board.  There you will find the color chart, price list, and sign-up sheet for the order.  All money must be paid in advance before your order will be placed. 

See You At the Pole 2013
See you at the pole is scheduled for Wednesday September 25th around 7:15am or 7:30am at Mantachie High School Football Field Flagpole.  Please pray for our students as they head up this nationwide event that takes place every year.
