Summer Mission Trip

I thought I would take an opportunity to inform our church family about our upcoming summer mission trip to Nashville, TN.  Our dates are set for May 21 – May 25.  We have been connected with an organization called “Hands On Nashville” to participate in our mission work and it looks to be a great chance to help others around the community of Nashville.  This organization has several volunteer opportunities available and we were able to select a couple of different ways to minister to others.  We are currently signed up to work at their food bank, in which we will help as they feed hungry families in the area.  We are also signed up to work at an urban farm preparation & maintenance area. There are currently 19 students and sponsors who are participating this summer and we are truly looking forward to serving in the city of Nashville.  We will also spend time in daily Bible studies.  Our goal is to represent F.B.C. Mantachie and glorify God in all we do.   Please be in prayer for us as we prepare to minister to others through this mission trip.  To find out more about Hands on Nashville, you can look up their website at www.HON.org. for more details.
