Are you a hospitable person? Do you show kindness and hospitality to those you meet and come in contact with? These questions and many like them should stay on the hearts and minds of not only our teenagers, but to every Christian of any age. Having proper manners and showing a hospitable attitude is one major component most Christians fail to see themselves fulfilling. The fact is, hospitality is something that should come to each of us naturally. People do not realize how much of an impact or testimony they leave with someone when they show a friendly smile and good manners. This type of attitude is expected of Christians not just when they are having a good day, but any day. This can be practiced by simply holding a door open for someone, saying yes mam or sir, asking a question and stating please at the end of your request, or even allowing someone to go ahead of you when they seem to be in a rush. Try practicing hospitality to someone this week and see how it impacts those you do it for and others around you who notice your Christian behavior.
