For the next 4 weeks we will be using student study series taken from the movie “God’s Not Dead”. This study will deal with taking a stand, learning to say something, how decisions effect relationships, and learning to lean on Jesus when we need Him the most. This series will include scenes from the movie and will help our students remember the important details that it dealt with. I look forward to beginning this study this Wednesday night.
Camp Fire Service Recap
We had a great night of fellowship, food, and devotional time this past Wednesday at our camp fire service that was held at our home. Each year we do this event and gather our students in our front yard for an outdoor service where they get to cook hotdogs and marshmallows over a campfire. This year we had around 45 students and adults present and a candlelight devotion to top off the evening. It was a real blessing having our students and adults participate in this event.
Smart Card Discount Sale
We were left off the pickup list when the smart card guy came thru to pick up the cards in Sept. As an apology, he donated the remaining cards to our youth group. We will not have to turn in money for these so we’ll be able to sell them at a discount price of $8, with the entire amount going toward student ministries and our mission trip next summer.The cards contain discounts/coupons for Lee and Itawamba Co.The card is good until 8/1/15 and contains local favorites like 10% off at Delmars and a free cookie at Mantachie Pizza.

We are now taking orders for Main Event shirts if you are interested in buying one. You can choose between t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies. The color chart and order form is posted in the amphitheater. Money must be paid in advance .
