With a new year in front of us, I want to encourage each of you to make some changes in your lives for 2009. Think about the things you’ve committed to in the past that start out with excitement and energy and usually end in a few weeks with discouragement and failure. I want you to challenge you to commit yourselves to living for the Lord this year. As you know, this will not be an overnight change, but you can take small steps in order to gradually make this change in your life. Remember, commitment means you commit to something and stick to it……not quit.
I want to thank all of you for coming to our New Year’s party last week and beginning the year 2009 together. I am looking forward to this year with you and I hope you can get excited about what the Lord will have for you here at FBC Mantachie.
