God loves us. He has always loved us. He pursued us when we didn’t deserve it. He loved us when we were unlovable. He did this so that we could enjoy eternal life with Him. We could talk to Him, walk with Him, and enjoy eternity with Him.
Choose today to let this verse sink in. Don’t just read it quick and forget about it, but instead choose to think about the fact that God went out of His way to pursue a relationship with you.
This Wednesday night we will be having small groups again. Our message is entitled “Jelly Bean Bigot”. I know it’s a crazy title but there’s a real meaning behind this lesson. I’m praying for a great service this Wednesday. See you then!
The Main Event will be having a yard sale Saturday, May 6th in the gym. Since spring cleaning is around the corner I’m asking our church family to donate items you no longer wish to keep to the yard sale. As it stands now were asking for “no clothes” to be donated. Items that we’re looking for are old bicycles, TV’s, pictures, old lawn mowers, gaming consoles, DVD players, radios, knick knacks from around the house, DVD movies, CD’s, etc…In the next couple of weeks I will have a place to store these items at the church prior to the yard sale. If you have anything you wish to donate, please give me a call and I will arrange a time with you to have them dropped off at the church. All funds raised during this yard sale will go to helping our youth get to SOAR this summer.
