that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life. – John 3:15
Today’s Bible verse really shows the true love of God. God didn’t exclude anyone from eternal life. It doesn’t matter where you have come from, where you’ve been, or what you’ve done.
This verse tells us that everyone who believes in Jesus is included. God’s love is extended to anyone who would accept Him.
The next part of the verse talks about believing. Even though God wants everyone to know Him and experience the goodness of eternal life with Him, not all will. It’s up to each person to choose to believe on Jesus. Every person has to choose to put their trust and belief in Jesus to experience the fullness of eternal life with God.
It’s great to know that God doesn’t make it hard for us to have eternal life with Him. We don’t have to do anything other than simply believe in Jesus for our salvation and receive His gift of grace. Today, spend some time thanking God for how easy He made it to know Him. Thank Him that no one is excluded from the opportunity to experience eternal life with God, it’s just up to each person to believe in Jesus.
The Main Event is having a BBQ lunch after service on April 10th. All proceeds we make from the BBQ lunch will go to the youth to help pay for our summer trip to Dallas for SOAR. We are asking our church family to help support us in this effort.
Winter Jam is March 31st…Details on when we will be leaving the church will be announced soon.
Also, this Wednesday night we will be back in our Basic series talking about the “Last Supper”. I hope each and every one of you enjoyed your spring break. We had some really good weather and it was a well-deserved break for all of us.
I hope to see you all this Wednesday night.
God bless,
