The semester is almost half over and the school year is flying by and I wanted to give an update of how it has been so far in The Main Event. We are off to a great start since school has started back and have a lot of excited teens that keep us occupied each week. We are getting ready to begin our second Bible lesson series that will carry us all the way through November and I hope the students will “love” it. It is called:
Love Out Loud
Lesson 1
Over the next 6 weeks we will be doing a study to help students put their faith in action as they learn about what the love of God can do for them and how to show that love to the people you come to know and meet. It will challenge our students to go outside the church and into their schools and communities to share their faith and “love” of Christ with others.
Belk Charity Event Sale Tickets
Our Main Event students are now selling tickets for the Belk Charity Event Sale set for Saturday November 9th. Tickets are $5 and if you attend the sale and make a purchase you will receive the $5 back off your purchase. All money raised will go toward our summer Mission Trip 2014.
