May 4-8 is National Nurses Week across America. We truly appreciate all our F.B.C. nurses and medical personnel. You do an amazing work and we love you for it!
On a personal note, I am so proud of my whole family, but this week, I applaud Mrs. Adams for being nominated North Ms. Community Health Nurse of the Year and Dr. Trinity Nichols on being selected Fred’s Pharmacy Manager of the Year. We are so thankful for you!
An important part of prayer is LISTENING TO WHAT GOD WOULD SAY TO US. But sometimes God does not say what we want to hear. A favorite story is about an agnostic who fell off of a cliff. About half-way down he caught hold of a bush sticking out of the cliff. There he was hanging, momentarily spared, but still too far from the ground to let go. He begins to pray: “Is anybody up there?” he asks. Again, “Is anybody up there?” A voice answers, “Yes, this is the Lord.” The man yells frantically, “Help me.” There is a moment of silence. Then the Lord answers: “Let go of the bush and I will save you.” There is another silence as the man looks down at the ground far below. Finally he yells: “Is there anybody else up there?”
