Do you have the Joy, JOY, joY, jOy down in your heart?  What makes a person tend to be frowning, grumpy, irritated, or just mean and cruel most of the time?  Is it a sign of unhealthiness, maybe their shoes are laced too tight, or maybe even a toothache….Hmmm, I’m just wondering.  I think the Bible has the best answer for this question.  Check out Proverbs 15:13.  It states that “A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit.”  When you know of someone who is a glumb-chumb, it’s more than likely a troubled heart and according to God’s Word, that makes us frown.  If this is you, you neeed to turn that frown upside down and seek God for a cheerful heart.  This way people will see you as a person worth being around instead of avoiding you as a “Dr. Feelbad”.
This week let’s feel the amphitheatre with joy and excitement and praise the Lord for all He has done.  We are meeting at our regular time of 6:45pm and I look forward to sharing the Word, songs of praise, and lots of smiling this Wednesday night.  So keep your frowns in your pockets or throw them in the trash and let’s show the world through our smiles how important God is to us!!!
